Finance Manager- Winfield United

This position will be responsible for financial planning & analysis within our Crop Protection (CPP) business for WinField United. The candidate will lead the partnership with both our CPP Procurement team and our strategic accounts (Retail Alliance) team. The successful candidate will have strong financial skills including the ability to analyze and interpret data and present results to business partners including Procurement, Retail Alliances and Marketing, in a meaningful format to assist in decision-making.

This position is located at our Arden Hills, MN Corporate Headquarters (in office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week).

Scope:
Lead the financial analysis and partnership with the Procurement team, including supporting vendor rebate negotiations, purchase decisions and Financing programs

Partner with the Retail Alliances team to drive the financial strategy and performance of our key strategic accounts

Manage and coach two senior-level financial analysts within the department

Direct a cross-functional partnership across Procurement and Corporate Treasury to architect a Net Financing program that delivers value to the cooperative system. You will optimize the balance between Customer and Vendor Financing while aligning decisions with Land O’Lakes’ balance sheet requirements and prevailing interest rate environments.

Own the Patronage/Dividend program for Winfield United. Consolidate all models and analysis for future-state program.


Experience—Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline

A minimum of 8 years of progressive finance and/or accounting experience

CPA, CMA, MBA, or certification desired

Prior experience leading multiple direct reports highly desired


Preferred Experience
Experience in budgeting and forecasting

Expertise in synthesizing enterprise financial data into visual narratives for executive level reporting and communications

Understanding of the interconnectivity between the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows

$107,680-$161,520. In most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges.
