Finance & Accounting Senior Associate – Real Estate Investment Platform

Overview

A leading global real estate investment firm is seeking a Finance & Accounting Senior Associate to join its growing corporate finance team. This is a high-impact role supporting a complex, multi-entity investment platform across the U.S. and Europe.


You’ll play a key role in consolidated reporting, audit, and financial oversight, while partnering closely with investment, operations, and senior leadership. This is an opportunity to step into a build-out environment with strong visibility and the ability to influence systems, processes, and reporting infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support global financial reporting and consolidation across a multi-entity investment platform (U.S. GAAP / IFRS exposure)
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules
  • Partner with fund administrators and external providers on accounting, reporting, and cash management
  • Analyze financial data and deliver insights on investment performance, capital structure, and liquidity
  • Assist with quarterly and annual reporting, including audit coordination and technical accounting matters
  • Own and enhance intercompany accounting and reconciliation processes
  • Collaborate with investment teams on transactions and ongoing portfolio monitoring
  • Contribute to system implementations, process improvements, and automation initiatives
  • Prepare ad hoc reporting for lenders, investors, and senior stakeholders


Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance (public accounting + industry a plus)
  • Strong experience with consolidations (ASC 810) and acquisition accounting (ASC 805)
  • CPA preferred
  • Exposure to investment platforms, real estate, or multi-entity structures highly desirable
  • Experience working with global entities and FX considerations is a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems/reporting tools preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment


Compensation

  • 120-135k base + 15-25% bonus, commensurate with experience
