Plasma Transferred Arc (PTA) Service Technician / Field Service Technician
Location: Goshen, IN

This hands-on role combines field service, automation, troubleshooting, and customer interaction, giving you the opportunity to directly impact equipment performance, productivity, and operational reliability.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Install, commission, and calibrate PTA welding and hardfacing systems
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, automation, and control-system issues
- Perform preventive maintenance and equipment repairs at customer sites
- Train operators on equipment operation and welding best practices
- Provide remote and onsite technical support and process optimization
- Assemble, test, calibrate, and validate systems in-house
About You
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, CNC equipment, robotics, or machine control systems
- Hands-on welding experience with PTA, TIG, MIG, or laser systems
- Knowledge of surface engineering, metallurgy, or hardfacing technologies
- Familiarity with OMRON CxProgrammer, CxDesigner, or Sysmac Studio
- Ability to obtain a passport and travel extensively
