💼 Field Service Technician

💰 $35-$45/hr + Benefits

My client is a leading OEM within the processing and packaging space, designing and manufacturing high-spec capital equipment.
Their systems are installed at facilities operated by some of the most recognised food and beverage brands globally.
What's On Offer:
- $35-$45/hr
- Overtime: 1.5x on anything over 40 hours.
- All travel counts towards overtime.
- Per Diem: $70/day
- Paid Commissions on service plans, upgrades and parts.
What You'll Do:
- Travel to customer sites to install. commission and service capital equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and controls issues.
- Perform upgrades, modifications and preventative maintenance.
- Work with PLC systems - primarily Allen-Bradley / Rockwell.
- Support customers remotely when needed.
- Produce clear, detailed service reports.
- Manage service schedules, travel and expenses.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience in a Field Service role.
- Experienced working on industrial machinery & automated equipment.
- Strong aptitude and experience working across mechanical, electrical and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Comfortable with an aptitude to learn basic PLC work - troubleshooting, editing/modifying programs.
- Comfortable travelling up-to 70% across the US.
