Pinnacle Solutions is developing the USMC Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV) Maintenance Training System (MTS) to provide state-of-the-art training and maintenance support to the fleet. Once fielded, the MTS will be managed and maintained by a full-time, in-person Field Service Representative (FSR).
The MTS includes the following three products:
- Electronic Classrooms (ECs) provide a digital virtual-reality/mixed reality system that enables demonstration of instructor-led training, coursework and materials.
- The Diagnostic Task Trainer (DTT) trains students in diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing ACV systems, faults codes and Line Replaceable Units (LRU).
- The Part Task Trainer (PTT) provides entry-level ACV technicians with hands-on proficiency in the installation and removal of the ACV power pack and suspension components as well as emergency egress training.
The FSR shall provide MTS support during a standard work week (Monday through Friday), eight (8) hours per day in-person, via telephone, or other electronic media based on their geographic location. The East Cost FSR will be physically located at Camp Lejeune, NC, and will support Camp Lejeune, Florida, and Virginia locations, as well as possible travel to Okinawa, Japan. The FSR will be the on-site point of contact for all matters pertaining to the operational readiness of the fielded MTS.
This is an exempt position.
ResponsibilitiesThe scope of the FSR support includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:
- Support initial setup and training of the ACV MTS at all East Cost sites.
- Install software updates to the ECs and DTT when delivered.
- Support site personnel in the start-up, software loading, and other functions necessary to ensure all MTS are ready-for-training.
- Provide a single point of contact to support the MTS devices that are not located at Camp Lejeune to expedite repairs.
- Travel to other ACV MTS sites for on-site updates, repairs, and training (within 30 days of being requested).
- Inventory and account for all equipment received.
- Inspect all equipment for damages and document the findings.
- Perform functional tests.
- Repair or replace failed equipment, to include spares, with items that are the same as, interchangeable with, or meet the form, fit, and function requirements of the items included in the delivered training system.
- Prepare failure and repair report for items requiring maintenance actions.
- Coordinate the preparation, packaging, and shipment of equipment for repair or replacement, following logistics and handling processes.
- Verify all maintenance trainer technical documentation for technical errors, omissions, and other deficiencies. Comments, redlines, and other corrections to documentation shall be submitted monthly.
- Support monthly metrics and status reporting to the Pinnacle Program Manager in Huntsville.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME), when necessary, for MTS development.
Qualifications- Minimum of 10 years of experience and expert knowledge of USMC vehicle maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills – oral and written.
- Able to solve highly complex problems, provide recommendations and produce practical solutions.
- Available to perform the responsibilities required of the contract for 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.
- Be able to obtain a security clearance.
- Comply with military base policies and practices, such as driving, safety and security.
- Be a U.S. Citizen.
Desired Qualifications:
