Field-Programmable Gate Arrays Engineer

Job Title: FPGA Design Engineer (VHDL)

Job Summary:

Design, develop, and test FPGA-based digital control systems for MR (Magnetic Resonance) applications. Work in an embedded, regulated environment to deliver high-quality, reliable designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and debug VHDL code for FPGA designs
• Perform simulation, hardware testing, and verification
• Troubleshoot FPGA and circuit board issues
• Create technical design documentation and test procedures
• Build and validate prototypes using lab equipment

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science
• 5+ years of FPGA development with VHDL
• Experience in simulation, hardware testing, and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with lab tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter)
• Ability to work onsite (Waukesha, WI)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10+ years of FPGA experience
• Experience with Quartus and QuestaSim
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
