New York Apparel Design is a fast growing apparel wholesale company specializing in women’s apparel, including junior, young contemporary, and missy categories. We are looking for a highly organized, professional, and detail oriented Executive Assistant who is bilingual in English and Mandarin.

The ideal candidate will support senior management with daily operations, communication, scheduling, vendor coordination, administrative tasks, and follow up across multiple departments. This role is best suited for someone who is proactive, reliable, well spoken, and comfortable working in a fast paced apparel wholesale environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct administrative support to executives and senior management

• Manage calendars, appointments, meetings, and follow ups

• Communicate with overseas vendors, factories, and business partners in English and Mandarin

• Assist with emails, reports, documents, and internal coordination

• Help track projects, deadlines, samples, production updates, and business priorities

• Coordinate with design, production, sales, logistics, and accounting teams

• Prepare meeting notes and ensure action items are followed through

• Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

• Assist with company events, office coordination, and special projects as needed

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin required

• Prior experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Coordinator, or similar role preferred

• Apparel, wholesale, import, manufacturing, or fashion industry experience is a plus

• Strong communication, organization, and follow up skills

• Comfortable working with vendors, factories, and internal teams

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, email, and general office systems

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast paced environment

• Professional, dependable, and detail oriented
