Description:
The Family Team Staffing Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading prevention/diversion staffings and meetings to ensure they are productive, inclusive, and outcome-driven. This role ensures that staffings/meetings adhere to established policy, organizational objectives, and professional standards. The facilitator guides discussions, manages time effectively, maintains neutrality, and documents key outcomes and action items that support children and families from entering the formal system of care. This position directly supports the Child Protective Investigations (CPI) team by taking referrals and conducting or participating in Local Review Team (LRT) staffings to support the CPI team with diverting families from entering the formal system of care when youth can remain safely in their homes with appropriate service coordination.
