Family Law Associate Attorney – VA

Our client, a well-established mid-sized law firm with a strong presence across the Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to join one of its Virginia offices.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain significant courtroom experience while managing a diverse caseload of family law matters.

Responsibilities:

• Manage family law cases from intake through resolution
• Handle matters including divorce, custody, child support, and property division
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and agreements
• Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and trials
• Communicate with clients and provide strategic legal guidance

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school
• Active Virginia Bar license required
• 3–5+ years of family law experience
• Strong litigation and courtroom experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
