Ultra-high net worth family/hedge fund founder is hiring an Executive Houseman. This role is onsite and does require travel.
Schedule:
• Palm Beach, FL: November – April
• Southampton, NY: April – November
• Travel required between residences during seasonal transitions.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain interior and exterior of residences to high standards.
- Conduct routine walkthroughs to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Assist with organization, storage, seasonal setup, and property transitions between locations.
- Manage household inventory and ensure homes are prepared for principals’ arrival.
- Provide daily care for household pets, including coordination of vet services.
- Research products, services, and property needs.
- Source, compare, schedule, and oversee vendors, ensuring quality work.
- Maintain organized records of vendors, services, and warranties.
- Assist principal with daily tasks and special projects.
- Provide timely updates and execute requests with professionalism and discretion.
- Remain responsive via text and digital communication.
- Coordinate with household staff and serve as liaison between residences.
- Ensure clear task delegation, follow-through, and a respectful team environment.
- Adapt to evolving household needs.
- Use digital tools for communication, research, and record-keeping.
- Maintain spreadsheets, logs, and tracking systems accurately.
- Document work and organize digital household records.
- Learn and manage home technology and smart systems.
Qualifications
• Experience working in a private household environment as a senior employee required.
• Reference from a previous principal required.
