Fair Lending Banking Specialist

• Individual contributor role responsible for building and managing the bank’s Fair Lending Compliance Program from the ground up
• Leads development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of fair lending policies, procedures, and controls
• Partners closely with senior leadership, including the CRO, to identify and manage fair lending risk across the organization
• Conducts periodic reviews such as comparative file testing, redlining analysis, marketing reviews, and exception tracking
• Develops annual fair lending plans, monitoring schedules, and risk assessment frameworks
• Creates reporting tools and delivers clear, actionable insights to senior management and the Board of Directors
• Oversees fair lending training programs for employees, leadership, and board members
• Supports regulatory exams and internal audits, including preparation, issue remediation, and response documentation
• Reviews lending practices, credit policies, pricing, marketing strategies, and third-party relationships for compliance risks
• Requires 5+ years of fair lending and consumer compliance experience within a financial institution
• Strong analytical and technical skills required, including advanced Excel (Salesforce a plus)
• Fully onsite role in Pitman, NJ. Monday - Friday
