This role is ideal for individuals who take initiative, enjoy problem‑solving, and want to grow their skills in facility operations, maintenance, and compliance. Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Maintenance & Repairs
Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing repairs, drywall patching, painting, and basic electrical work
Support facility upkeep through cleaning, repairs, and labor-intensive tasks such as furniture moves and deployments
Safely lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs
Preventative Maintenance & Operations
Assist in coordinating preventative maintenance programs for building systems and equipment
Utilize Building Management Systems (BMS) to monitor facility operations
Maintain accurate records of work performed, system updates, and maintenance logs
Vendor & Procurement Support
Create and manage purchase orders
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for larger repair or maintenance projects
Safety, Compliance & Emergency Response
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements
Assist with handling and awareness of hazardous materials following proper guidelines
Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally
Support emergency repairs and be available for overtime or weekend work as needed
Must-Have Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, construction, or a related hands-on field (or equivalent practical experience)
Basic knowledge of:
Plumbing systems
HVAC systems
Drywall repair
Electrical systems
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Experience with-or willingness to learn-Building Management Systems (BMS)
Strong work ethic and comfort performing physically demanding tasks
Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience creating purchase orders and coordinating with vendors
Exposure to facility compliance, safety standards, or regulatory requirements
Basic understanding of hazardous material handling
Willingness to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts, and scissor lifts
Trade school or technical certification is a plus, but not required
