Job Title: Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. This role operates on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, with occasional mandatory overtime on weekends, roughly once a month. The Electrician will conduct daily assessments of systems, assist other trades in equipment maintenance and repair, and maintain a clean working environment. The Electrician will install, troubleshoot, and repair facility electrical distribution systems, lighting systems, and associated apparatus and devices. A strong knowledge of motors, motor controls, variable frequency drives, PLC controllers, and power distribution systems is essential. Familiarity with low voltage and fire alarm systems is also required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily assessments and maintenance of systems.
  • Assist other trades with general equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical distribution and lighting systems.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of motors, motor controls, and power distribution systems.
  • Familiarity with low voltage and fire alarm system repairs.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with electrical repair of 480 volts and above.
  • Proficiency in motor controls.
  • Ability to read and understand system blueprints, specifications, and performance data.
  • Troubleshoot control circuits.
  • PLC knowledge.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Experience in plumbing, electrical, service, facilities maintenance, and mechanical repair.
  • Knowledge of refrigeration systems and EPA Universal certification.
  • Ability to read blueprints and perform conduit bending.
  • Experience pulling wire and working with low voltage systems.
  • Trained on NFPA 70E (preferred).
  • Aerial Lift/Boom Lift Certification (preferred).

Work Environment

The role is based onsite across 12 buildings spanning 1,650 acres and 2 million square feet. Work will be conducted both indoors and outdoors. Indoor facilities are clean and temperature-controlled. The environment can be loud due to heavy automotive industrial work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
