THE WORK
- Perform routine fabrication and/or assembly operation on metal and non-metallic parts.
- Follow prescribed procedures, drawings, operation sheets and other detail or oral instructions to assemble firewalls, ducts, tubes, and other standard subassemblies.
- Fabricate small detail parts, perform routine layout work as necessary and drill, grind, trim, saw, shear, punch nibble parts as required, using available hand, power tools, and machines in area.
- Perform minor bending or straightening operations, use clecos~ screws, bolts, clamps, etc., to secure parts to jigs or fixtures and shrink or stretch assemblies to obtain specified quality standards.
- Direct and instruct one or two helpers and assist higher grade workers in accordance with work assignments. Perform related duties as directed and refer all questionable conditions to higher grade worker or supervision.

Basic Qualifications:
- Requires a knowledge of arithmetic involving the use of decimal and fractions and ability to read engineering drawings.
- Use of measuring instruments such as scale, micrometer, square, etc. and various available hand, power tools, and machines in areas.
- Requires H.S. diploma and/or equivalent degree.
- Candidate must possess at least 3 months to 6 months of professional experience
- Candidates must be a U.S Citizenship in order to be considered for this role.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
