We are looking for an experienced Pastry Cook to join our Michelin Star Restaurant – Valle. Ideally, this person will have pastry experience in a Michelin capacity. This person will prepare all pastry products as trained in accordance to Valle Pastry standards; assists higher level culinary leaders; and complete other duties as assigned by Chef. This person will be able to take direction from leaders and create a consistent product. This person will be able to preform in the restaurants’ high expectation environment.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $21.50/hr - $26.00/hr. This is the pay range for this position that The Seabird Resort reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual hourly pay rate will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

  • 3+ years of experience as pastry cook in a fine dining restaurant. Preferably Michelin Star experience.
  • Fine-tuned detailed skills.
  • Able to work single station in the kitchen.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must have great communication skills. Capable of performing repetitious duties.
  • Ability to take direction for Supervisor and/or Manager.
  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and practices an occupational health and safety standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Must be available AM and PM shifts. Restaurant is open Tuesday – Saturday.
