How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Implement and supervise patient physical exercise programs, including the planning and teaching of therapy based on test data, health status, and medications.
  • Provide comprehensive testing and assessment both before and after rehabilitation to evaluate progress and clinical outcomes.

  • Monitor patient responses to exercise, recognizing contraindications or abnormal reactions, and revising plans or ceasing activity as required.

  • Deliver educational information and classes to patients, peers, and the community, including public speaking and professional referrals.

  • Manage operational tasks such as equipment maintenance, record-keeping, scheduling, and providing department oversight in the manager’s absence.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Exercise Physiologist credentialed from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Masters degree preferred.
What additional preferences we're seeking
  • Bachelors in Exercise Physiology
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Experience in Cardiac Stress Testing and Nuclear Cardiac Stress Testing.
