McKenzie Institute USA (MIUSA) is seeking its next Executive Director to lead a nationally respected nonprofit dedicated to advancing the McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy®. This is a globally recognized approach to treating musculoskeletal disorders. Building upon a strong foundation and legacy, the next leader will lead MIUSA’s strategic direction, maintain its long-term financial sustainability and operational efficiency, and oversee the organization’s programs and staff.The next executive director will be charged with shape the future of physical therapy continuing education in a rapidly evolving landscape, guiding innovation in course delivery, digital learning, and outreach, and providing inspired leadership and innovative thinking.
The ideal candidate brings a deep passion for McKenzie Institute USA’s mission, a successful record of organizational leadership and experience developing strong collaborative relationships, and a proven record of introducing and developing innovative approaches. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, optimistic, a strategic thinker, a problem solver, a good listener, a strong project manager, a team builder, a trustworthy individual, and an excellent communicator. Background in higher learning in a healthcare environment is preferred but not required.
The location for the job is in Syracuse, New York (hybrid)
