Overview:
Nonprofit on the Central Coast of California looking for a Executive Director of Programs’ to join our leadership team, and to oversee our programs that include complex care management, CalAIM initiatives, care transitions, family caregiver support and healthcare workforce development. You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to ensure the delivery of high-quality, data-driven services that support the underserved population of our community.
Key responsibilities include leading program expansion, developing and implementing innovative and sustainable programs, overseeing program budgets and financial performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory and funding requirements, and providing leadership and supervision to program staff.
This is an onsite position, located in either our Santa Cruz, CA or Salinas, CA office.

Qualifications:
A. Must have 8-10 yrs leadership experience in the nonprofit and/or healthcare sector inclusive of :
*Licensure such as LCSW, RN, psychology, related field is
desirable.
*Experience with Enhanced Care Management, care transitions,
and community-based care models.
*Experience in healthcare workforce development initiatives.
*Spanish language proficiency is preferred.
B. Must have an advanced degree in social work, nursing, public health, or a related field.
C. Knowledge of Medicaid (Medi-Cal), CalAIM, Medicare, and managed care environments, including reimbursement structures and regulatory requirements.
D. Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and care coordination platforms.
E. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
F. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
G. Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, evolving program environments with competing priorities.
H. Demonstrated success in effectively mentoring and training staff.
I. Willingness to travel within the region, with a valid California driver's license and access to a reliable insured vehicle.
