POSITION OVERVIEW

Anand Financial Advisors is a growing solo advisory practice managing 350 accounts across 120 households. The founder is looking for one exceptional person to take complete ownership of daily operations — and then help build what comes next.


Half the job is flawless execution: scheduling, client communications, account tracking, and follow-through. That half must be on autopilot. The other half is operational thinking: finding efficiencies, proposing improvements, and helping the firm grow. Both matter. In that order.

This role is a launching pad for the right person. For someone who wants to clock in and clock out, it isn't.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES In order of priority:

  • Manage scheduling, calendar coordination, and client appointments — own it completely, anticipate conflicts before they happen, and prepare materials in advance
  • Process life insurance and investment account applications — track every case from submission through completion with nothing falling through the cracks
  • Handle client service requests and client communications — respond with urgency; if it takes two minutes, it gets done now
  • Capture and manage client meeting notes and follow-up actions — maintain the master tracking spreadsheet that is the operating backbone of the business. Big portion is sitting in on meetings and taking notes, from there handling any action items that may arise.
  • Assist with process development, workflow optimization, and documentation — identify what's inefficient and bring solutions, not just observations
  • Utilize AI and automation tools to improve efficiency and scalability — active working knowledge of Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools is expected
  • Support marketing, CRM updates, and business development initiatives — surface follow-up opportunities and help prepare materials that support client growth
  • Perform select personal administrative tasks as needed


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills — and a system of your own that proves it
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Self-motivated; able to work independently without requiring oversight
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and digital tools
  • Interest in financial services, investing, or entrepreneurship
  • Active experience with AI or automation tools preferred

WORK SETUP

  • Schedule: Schedule is Monday-Friday, however most Fridays would be remote once earned. If not, in office.

Employment: W-2 (with benefits including 401k) or 1099. Candidate preference considered.


COMPENSATION & GROWTH PATH

Base compensation is $50,000. Bonuses are real and performance-driven — help land a significant client, drive a meaningful operational win, or contribute directly to revenue, and you'll be compensated for it. Earning potential extends well beyond the base for the right contributor.
