About the Role
Barsys is seeking a dynamic, organized, and highly adaptable Executive Assistant (EA) to support our Chief Executive Officer. This role is pivotal to the smooth functioning of executive operations and works in-person at our headquarters. As an EA, you will also collaborate closely with our Director of Operations and Chief of Staff to ensure high-level administrative and strategic alignment.
This is a unique opportunity to gain firsthand exposure to the inner workings of a startup, interface with senior stakeholders and investors, and play a critical role in supporting leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Support: Manage calendar, schedule meetings, coordinate travel, prepare briefing documents, and ensure the CEO’s time is used efficiently and effectively.
- Operational Coordination: Partner with the Director of Operations and Chief of Staff to support company initiatives, meeting follow-ups, and project tracking.
- Stakeholder Management: Interface professionally with investors, clients, and partners; prepare materials and manage communications for high-profile engagements.
- Confidentiality and Discretion: Handle sensitive information with the utmost care and professionalism.
- Office & Event Support: Assist with coordinating in-person meetings, team events, and company offsites.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or in a support role to C-level executives.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: Exceptional time management, prioritization skills, and accuracy in handling logistics and communication.
- Flexible & Proactive: Comfortable working in a startup environment with shifting priorities and last-minute requests.
- Communication Savvy: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, professional demeanor with external stakeholders.
- Confidentiality: Proven ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Startup Acumen: Prior experience working in a startup or fast-paced, high-growth environment is a strong plus.
