The Executive Assistant serves as a highly skilled administrative professional providing comprehensive support to the Vice President for Administration & Finance, CFO. This position will also provide administrative support to the Chief Information Officer on an as-needed basis. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can manage complex administrative functions, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.Independently manages and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Office of the Vice President for Administration & Finance, CFO while providing direct administrative support to the Chief Information Officer on an as-needed basis.
Oversees complex calendar management, scheduling, and prioritization of meetings and commitments.
Prepares for and supports executive-level meetings, including Board and committee meetings; records and maintains accurate, professional meeting minutes.
Serves as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism, responsiveness, and strong communication skills.
Organizes and facilitates meetings, conferences, and special events, ensuring seamless execution and follow-through.
Researches, prioritizes, and tracks a wide range of issues and inquiries directed to executive leadership, including those of a sensitive and confidential nature.
Conducts research and analysis on assigned topics and independently prepares correspondence, reports, and presentations, often involving confidential or complex subject matter.
Manages and supports a variety of special projects, some with broad institutional impact, ensuring timely completion and alignment with strategic priorities.
Assists in coordinating cross-functional initiatives and provides administrative oversight to ensure project success.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned in support of executive leadership and institutional operations.
Other relevant duties as assigned.

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. +5 years’ experience as an high level assistant supporting leadership, with demonstrated ability to manage schedules, confidential information, and high-level communications. The ideal candidate is a trusted partner to executive leadership, capable of anticipating needs and contributing to the effective operation of the division and the institution.
Licenses and Certification
Valid Georgia Driver’s License (or obtained within 30 days of hire date) and satisfactory MVR.

Essential functions and responsibilities of this position are performed in an inside environmental condition, where there is protection from weather conditions but not necessarily temperature changes.
