EVS Floor Care Tech - Evenings - Green

Located on the Torrey Pines Mesa near I-5 and Genesee Avenue in La Jolla, Scripps Green Hospital has served the greater San Diego community since 1977. We provide some of the region’s best care, including several nationally ranked specialty programs.

Scripps Green Hospital is attached to Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines. Together we offer dozens of medical and surgical services, including cancer care, orthopedic surgery and organ transplantation.

This is a full-time position located at our Scripps Green campus in the Torrey Pines area. Must be available to work an evening shift including 2:00pm-10:30pm and varied schedule including weekends. This position will be responsible for floor care, waste management, and housekeeping tasks as needed.

The housekeeping team performs job functions to support environmental care: Operates mechanical floor cleaners, polishers and vacuums. Wet mops rooms, halls, stairways and public areas. Buff, strip, wax and polish floors and shampoo rugs and furniture. Cleans vents, fans and other equipment using vacuum machines. May move furniture and other objects as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to speak, read, and write English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Floor care experience

• 1 year Housekeeping experience in Health Care or Hospitality

• Qualified candidates have extensive customer service experience and a desire to provide the highest quality of service
