Windansea Coconuts is a specialty beverage company that brands fresh coconuts for high-end events throughout San Diego. We bring a taste of paradise to music festivals, corporate conferences, weddings, private banquets — you name it, we've probably done it. The Role
This is a two-part position: warehouse prep during the week and live event service on-site at venues. You’ll be hands-on throughout — getting product ready, loading up, and then executing a polished guest experience at some of San Diego’s best event spaces. No two weeks are exactly the same.
Compensation & Details
• $20.00/hour starting wage with ability to grow
• Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, with potential for full-time
• Work across warehouse and event venues throughout San Diego
• Weekday warehouse shifts and weekend event coverage
**Full on-site training provided — no coconut experience required**
What You’ll Do:
Warehouse (Pre-Event)
• Unwrap, organize, brand, and rewrap coconuts using an electric branding tool
• Prep service carts, coolers, and event bins for transport
• Load equipment and product into vehicles for event deployment
Live Events
• Serve as the face of the brand — greet guests, explain the experience, and make it memorable
• Use specialized tools to prepare coconuts table side for service
• Keep a clean, premium, organized station throughout the event
• Execute setup and breakdown on schedule following a Run of Show (ROS) document
Requirements
• Reliable personal vehicle (SUV or truck preferred) for equipment transport
• Weekend availability is preferred, as most events fall on the weekends
• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds and stand for 4–8 hours during events
• Punctual and detail-oriented — we run on tight event timelines
• Strong communicator, especially when flagging issues to a team lead in real time
Who we’re looking for
• Previous hospitality, catering, or customer-facing experience preferred (not required)
• Comfortable in fast-paced, active environments
• A positive, people-first attitude — you’re often the first impression guests have of the brand
