We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Coordinator to join our growing team in the Charlotte, NC office to support the planning and execution of events that elevate client brands and drive media engagement. This junior-level position at NP Strategy is designed to introduce individuals to a diverse range of client teams while fostering the growth and expansion of their skill sets.


Client Support:

●       Work closely with NP Strategy client service teams to assist in providing services such as event planning, social media, message development, strategic communications, and public affairs.

●       Work closely with NP Strategy project leads to serve clients by:

  • Planning and coordinating events including ribbon cuttings, grand openings, press conferences, community events, and more
  • Collaborate with client teams to ensure brand consistency and attention to detail across all event elements
  • Develop event timelines, run-of-show documents, budgets, and production schedules
  • Coordinate venue and vendor outreach to ensure successful execution
  • Oversee event registration, attendee communication, and guest experience
  • Manage event budgets and track expenses to align with client allocations
  • Handle on-site event management alongside client lead, including setup, troubleshooting, and breakdown
  • Prepare post-event recaps, including media coverage, attendance metrics, and performance insights
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and partners for future events
  • Assist with additional client requests and special projects as they arise, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery

 

Team Support:

●       Actively participate in NP Strategy team meetings and activities

●       Be flexible and willing to work before and after hours if needed for a client or team project goal

 

Professional and Business Development:

●       Use your professional development budget to invest in yourself and grow your professional skills

●       Support NP Strategy business development efforts through proposal development, networking, and research

 

Qualifications:

●       Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field

●       Internship or work experience in event planning or coordination, communications, PR, public affairs, or related fields

●       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

●       Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

●       Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a team-oriented environment

●       Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed


Preferred Skills:

●       1-2+ years of experience in event planning or coordination

●       Frequent collaboration with internal teams and external partners

●       Creative problem-solving and attention to detail

Ability to remain calm under pressure in fast-paced environments
