ETO Planning Digital Transformation expert

As an ETO Planning Digital Transformation Expert, you will play a critical role in driving digital enablement, tool adoption, and process execution across manufacturing plants within your scope. This role is designed for a forward-thinking leader with strong digital and SAP expertise who thrives on collaboration, innovation, and delivering measurable results. You will ensure the right teams, digital tools, and competencies are in place to achieve best-in-class ETO planning, supply chain performance, and digital maturity.

 

This position requires 25% of travel expectations.

 

What will you do?

 

Monitoring Performance

  • Partner closely with manufacturing plants to support planning and execution using digital planning tools and KPIs.
  • Ensure the right actions are implemented to improve upstream and downstream performance.
  • Validate performance targets and support plants in building data-driven action plans, pipelines, and improvement roadmaps.

Process & Digital Tools

  • Serve as Level 1 functional support for ETO planning and supply chain digital tools, including SAP-based planning solutions.
  • Enable plants to maximize value from digital planning platforms, analytics, and automation capabilities.
  • Drive standardization and prioritization of digitally enabled planning processes aligned with ETO requirements.

Digital Transformation

  • Lead ETO planning digital transformation initiatives within manufacturing plants.
  • Ensure effective adoption of SAP solutions, digital planning tools, and new ways of working.
  • Provide hands-on change leadership to help plants realize measurable benefits from digital investments.
  • Act as a bridge between business, IT, and transformation teams to ensure solutions meet operational needs.

What will make you successfully in this position? 

Education & Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; preferred fields include Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Statistics, Economics, or Business.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, ETO Planning, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, or Vendor Forecasting.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional and digital transformation initiatives in complex manufacturing environments.

Digital & Technical Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of SIOP / ETO planning processes, Lean principles, and supply chain strategy.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP (e.g., SAP APO, IBP, S/4HANA, or related ETO planning modules) required.
  • Experience with digital planning platforms (e.g., Kinaxis, Oracle) and data analytics/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Ability to identify automation and digitization opportunities to improve planning performance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Proven ability to simplify complex processes and enable decision-making through digital insights.
  • Strong collaboration skills across plant operations, supply chain, IT, and transformation teams.

Analytical & Communication Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
