ETD Client Solutions Manager

Base up to ~$115k (depending on experience)


Our client, a global consultancy, is building out a solutions-focused team that partners closely with sales, product, and implementation groups. This role sits at the intersection of exchange-traded derivatives (futures & options), post-trade workflows, and client solution design, supporting prospects and existing clients through the pre-sales and onboarding lifecycle.


This is a strong fit for someone with an operations or post-trade background who wants to move into a more project-based, client-facing, and commercially aligned role.


What the role focuses on

  • Act as a solutions and workflow specialist during pre-sales conversations, supporting sales teams on client calls and product demonstrations
  • Work directly with prospective and existing clients to understand trade flows, operating models, and technical setups
  • Review a client’s current technology stack and identify how solutions will integrate into their environment
  • Translate business and operational requirements into clear implementation documentation, including scope, assumptions, and limitations
  • Draft materials that define what is in and out of scope before work is handed to implementation or delivery teams
  • Manage client questionnaires and requirement-gathering exercises as part of onboarding
  • Identify risks, non-standard requirements, or gaps early and escalate internally where needed
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for securities and ETD workflows, supporting internal teams with complex questions
  • Partner closely with product and development teams, providing client feedback and helping assess how new features would fit into existing solutions
  • Support internal knowledge sharing, training, and handoffs to ensure smooth execution post-sale


Background

  • 3+ years of experience in post-trade, operations, trade support, or client solutions within securities or ETD
  • Hands-on knowledge of exchange-traded derivatives, including futures and options trade flows
  • Experience with reconciliations and downstream post-trade processes
  • Exposure to SaaS, vendor, or platform-based environments is a plus
  • Comfortable working with clients and presenting workflows (doesn’t need to be pure sales, but communication skills matter)
  • Strong documentation skills — able to turn complex discussions into structured, usable materials
  • Organized and able to juggle multiple workstreams at once


Nice to have

  • Prior experience working alongside ETD specialists or ETD-focused platforms
  • Exposure to implementation, onboarding, or solution architecture work
  • Familiarity with collaboration or project tools (e.g., documentation or CRM systems)
