Job Details

The Estimator / Planner plays a key role in bridging design and production by developing accurate cost estimates and building production plans that ensure efficient execution.

Estimating:

• Review and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Identify materials, labor, production steps, and equipment requirements
• Develop detailed estimates including bills of materials and labor hours

Production Planning:

• Build and maintain production packages to support workflow efficiency
• Coordinate with purchasing to align material needs with timelines
• Identify machines, processes, and personnel required for production

Collaboration:

• Partner with engineering, production, purchasing, and sales teams
• Support the transition from concept into full production

Must-Haves

• 3–5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Experience with estimating, production planning, or both
• Hands-on experience creating bills of materials (BOM) and cost estimates
• Experience working within an ERP or MRP system
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
