Role Description

This is a contract Entry-Level Desk Adjuster role based in Houston, TX. The Desk Adjuster will be responsible for handling insurance claims, assessing damages, and preparing detailed and accurate estimates. This role requires proficiency in Xactimate and a strong understanding of insurance claim processes. The adjuster will be expected to evaluate property damage, interpret policy coverages, and collaborate with attorneys and insurance carriers to facilitate fair claim resolutions. The ability to write estimates is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Licensing as a Public Adjuster is helpful
• CPCU designation or progress toward CPCU is helpful.
• Proficiency in Xactimate and the ability to write accurate and detailed estimates.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in claim handling.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and claim processes.
• Previous experience in claims adjusting or insurance estimating is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field is preferred.
