Job Title: Estimator
Location: Atlanta, GA
Salary: $110K-$125K + Benefits
We are partnered with a well-established and highly reputable concrete contractor based in Atlanta, known for delivering high-quality commercial and industrial concrete solutions. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are actively seeking an experienced Concrete Estimator to join their team.
As a Concrete Estimator, you will play a critical role in the pre-construction phase, responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of concrete projects. You will work closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure bids are precise and aligned with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for concrete projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
- Identify potential risks and opportunities within project scope
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop competitive bid strategies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market pricing, materials, and industry trends
- Support project handover to operations team upon successful bid award
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Concrete Estimator or similar role within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, materials, and pricing
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
