Since 1989, Accurate has delivered specialty metal solutions throughout the NYC metro market through precision fabrication, disciplined project execution, and field installation expertise.

We are seeking a driven estimator to join our growing team and help support pricing, takeoffs, vendor coordination, and project execution on challenging specialty metal projects.

Key Responsibilities


  • Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to define project scope.
  • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for material, fabrication, and installation.
  • Solicit and level vendor and subcontractor pricing.
  • Assist with pricing change orders and competitive bid proposals.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and site walkthroughs as needed.
  • Support procurement and bid package development.
  • Organize estimate files and maintain cost databases.
  • Track scope changes and pricing impacts throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in turnover of awarded projects to project management and detailing teams.

Qualifications


  • 2+ years of estimating, project engineering, or construction-related experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with quantity takeoffs and bid preparation.
  • Proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Office
  • Bluebeam
  • Procore experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Motivated, coachable, and growth-oriented.
Compensation & Benefits


  • Salary range: $75,000–$90,000, based on experience
