JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for supporting the sales and account management of Samsung SDI America Energy Storage Solutions (ESS) offerings. The role focuses on learning the ESS market, building foundational customer relationships, and contributing to sales targets under the guidance of senior team members.



ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


· Sales and Order Support

  • Assist in achieving or exceeding assigned sales and order goals; support recovery plans when needed.
  • Help develop and execute opportunity strategies by understanding basic customer needs, competitive landscape, and Samsung SDI’s value proposition.
  • Support the preparation of proposals and actively participate in contract negotiations as directed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Pipeline Management tools for forecasting.
  • Help resolve basic delivery and Accounts Receivable issues in coordination with senior colleagues.

· Account Management Support

  • Support the account team in executing strategies to increase sales, customer penetration, profitability, and satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with customer contacts (including mid-level stakeholders) to establish preference for Samsung SDI.
  • Identify and communicate potential new product or service opportunities to the team.
  • Assist in resolving product or service issues to ensure customer satisfaction.




REQUIREMENTS


Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

· 0 to 3–4 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development (experience in the energy sector or technical sales is a plus).

· Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States and a valid driver’s license.

· Travel: up to 30–40% (as needed).

Required Skills:

· Strong interest in building and growing professional relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset.

· Good organizational and multi-tasking skills, with high integrity and a willingness to learn.

· Proficiency in MS Office and basic experience with CRM tools (Salesforce or equivalent is preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

· Internship or early-career experience in renewable energy, power systems, or B2B technical sales.

· Demonstrated enthusiasm for the energy storage industry.

· Ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced team environment.

  • Identify concerns and initiate corrective actions (through verification) relating to product, process and quality systems

HEALTH & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

  • Assist with the preparation of risk assessments
  • Before commencing work or research, a risk assessment should be conducted to identify, assess and control the hazards associated with the work or research. This should be conducted in conjunction with other relevant staff, researchers and the supervisor
  • Report OH&S problems
  • Report workplace hazards to the supervisor as soon as possible after they occur
  • Report injury or illness arising from workplace activities using the incident/injury reporting system as soon as possible after the incident
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Complete monthly H&S inspections
