Position Summary

Y-TEX Corporation is seeking an experienced ERP Systems Administrator & IT Manager to support and enhance our enterprise systems and information technology infrastructure. This position serves as the primary administrator for our ERP system, supporting more than 50 users across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and administrative functions.

In addition to ERP administration, this role provides leadership and oversight for the company's IT operations, including network infrastructure, cybersecurity, hardware and software management, vendor relationships, and IT compliance initiatives.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with excellent communication and project management skills to improve business processes, support end users, ensure data integrity, and maintain reliable technology systems that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Systems Administration

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ERP system users, providing technical support, troubleshooting, and user training.
  • Manage ERP user accounts, security roles, permissions, and profile configurations.
  • Coordinate with ERP vendors to resolve technical issues, manage software updates, and implement system enhancements.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate user needs into system configurations, process improvements, and solution recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through enhanced ERP utilization, automation, and system integration.
  • Maintain data accuracy, security, governance, and best practices within the ERP environment.
  • Support data imports, reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence tools, including Power BI.
  • Diagnose and resolve ERP-related issues to maintain system reliability and operational continuity.
  • Assist with ERP-related audits and compliance requirements.
  • Support cross-functional projects involving manufacturing, inventory management, supply chain, finance, and customer service processes.

Information Technology Management

  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including networks, servers, workstations, telecommunications, and cloud-based systems.
  • Manage relationships with external IT service providers, software vendors, and technology partners.
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, cybersecurity practices, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Ensure company systems remain secure, reliable, and compliant with applicable standards and business requirements.
  • Lead IT infrastructure upgrades, system implementations, and technology improvement projects.
  • Manage hardware and software procurement, licensing, deployment, and lifecycle planning.
  • Monitor cybersecurity risks and coordinate preventative and corrective actions.
  • Provide technical leadership and strategic recommendations regarding technology investments and future business needs.
  • Support users with hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues as needed.

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience with ERP, CRM, or enterprise business systems in a manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environment.
  • Strong understanding of ERP-enabled business processes, including manufacturing, inventory management, purchasing, and supply chain operations.
  • Experience with database administration, data analysis, reporting, scripting, or system integrations.
  • Proficiency with SQL and working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience administering SAP ERP or other manufacturing ERP platforms.
  • Experience managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity initiatives, and vendor relationships.
  • Experience with Power BI, reporting tools, and business intelligence platforms.
  • Previous IT leadership or IT management experience in a manufacturing environment.
