UTHealth Houston is seeking a highly skilled ERP Senior Systems Analyst to join our PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) support team. This position is responsible for full life cycle application development, support, and enhancement of PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and custom PeopleSoft applications. The ideal candidate operates with minimal supervision, independently determines solutions, and ensures high-quality outcomes that meet institutional needs.
Key Responsibilities include:
Application Development & Support
•Provide full life-cycle development, customization, and support for PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and related custom applications.
•Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across HCM modules, ensuring system stability and user satisfaction.
Analysis & Design
•Analyze customer requests to assess feasibility, scope, and technical requirements.
•Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications for new features and enhancements.
•Design and document system improvements, integrations, and process optimizations.
Technical Development
•Perform technical development independently
•Develop, enhance, and maintain using:

oPeopleCode
oApplication Packages
oSQR
oEvent Mapping
oFluid UI
Customer Support
•Provide end-user support for applications, enhancements, and new system functionality.
•Collaborate with functional teams and end users to ensure successful issue resolution and system performance.

This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position based at the University Center Tower in Houston. Employees work a hybrid schedule, combining on-site presence during regular business hours (Monday–Friday) with remote work flexibility.
Position Key Accountabilities:
Certification/Skills:
You must have:
•Strong experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, including development and production support.
•Proficiency with Oracle/PeopleSoft development tools such as AE, PeopleCode, App Packages, SQR, and Fluid UI.
•Ability to analyze complex requirements and independently identify technical solutions.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
•Experience in participating in group discussions and presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
•Experience with ERP implementations and support, particularly within higher education or large enterprise environments.
•Knowledge of Time and Labor and Payroll modules is a significant plus.
•Experience across other PeopleSoft HCM modules—Workforce Administration, Commitment Accounting, Workflow, and Integration Broker—is desirable.
Minimum Education:
At least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related discipline required. You may substitute required education with equivalent (four) years of experience beyond the minimum experience requirement.
Minimum Experience:
3 years of relevant experience required. ERP systems implementation, extensibility, integration, and support experience is highly desirable. ERP Systems include PeopleSoft, Coupa, DocuSign, Document Management (Documentum, Onbase), and InfoEd. In this role, PeopleSoft is the one required.
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
