Weekend Night Shift RN – Critical Access Hospital
Join our dedicated team at a community-based, patient-focused critical access hospital where your skills truly make an impact. We’re looking for a Registered Nurse to work weekend night shifts in a unique role that offers variety and collaboration.

As part of our close-knit team, you’ll work across multiple capacities while partnering closely with physicians and ancillary staff to deliver exceptional care to our community. Come join our dynamic team at our local critical access hospital.

• Additional compensation for the weekend package
• Night shift differential
• Plus, the regular weekend differential

Schedule:

• Night shift, 36 hours per week

• Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday (48/52 weekends per year)

POSITION PURPOSE

Provides and directs safe, effective, and culturally competent care for patientspresenting withurgent and emergent medical conditions. Utilizes evidence-based practice and critical thinking to assess, triage, plan, implement, and evaluate care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The Emergency Room (ED) RN manages a diverse patient population across all age groups and conditions, including trauma, cardiac, neurological, and behavioral health emergencies. Supervises andcoordinatescare provided by LPNs, Patient Care Assistants, Emergency Room Techs, and other ED team members.Facilitatescommunication with physicians, patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Adheres toMercyOne’sperformance expectations and upholds the Mission, Vision, and Values ofMercyOne.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate degree in nursingrequired.
• Bachelor of Science inNursing(BSN) preferred.
• Current Illinois (IL) RN license
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)requiredonly if the unit has telemetry monitoring capabilities.

Pay Range: $32.74 - $49.11 per hour

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
