Your efforts with focus on maintaining medical devices and equipment, assisting with equipment development projects and similar tasks. Ultimately, while you may not interact with patients directly, your work will leave a lasting impression on their and their families’ lives. Most common equipment you will service/clean are infusion devices. You should be familiar with IV pumps, medicine distributions, PC, Pcas, and your IPCS.
This team has multiple shift openings for full time, part time and PRN.
Full time. 4 x 10 hour shifts. 8:00 pm-6:30 am with weekly weekend day and holiday requirements.
Full time. 4 x 10 hour shifts. 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with weekly weekend and holiday requirements.
Part time. 20 hours per week. 10:00AM - 8:30PM, with weekly weekend day and holiday requirements.
PRN. 7:00 am - 3:30 pm as needed. As a PRN caregiver, you are required to work a minimum of 48 hours in a 6 week scheduling period.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Perform targets rounding in active patient areas to recover assets for processing and redistribution. (ELT I and II)
Clean, deliver, evaluate and inspect specified medical devices and equipment, such as infusion pumps, syringe pumps, feeding pumps, PCA pumps, DVT pumps, specialty beds, specialty carts and procedural trays. (ELT I)
Document work activity in an electronic database. (ELT I)
Order supplies, stock patient rooms and deploy supplies to units and departments. (ELT I)
Troubleshoot, maintain and repair specified medical devices. (ELT I and II)
Assist with and/or leads special projects as designated. (ELT II)
Order supplies and ensure adherence to unit/department budget, as needed. (ELT II)
Stock patient rooms or deploy supplies for use, as needed. (ELT II)
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
High School Diploma/GED (preferred for ELT I. Required for ELT II)
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Hospital or logistics experience
Associate's Degree (ELT II)
Training in operations, lean/Six Sigma and/or process improvement (ELT II)
Physical Requirements ELT I:
Must be able to walk long distances while pushing a cart of equipment/supplies.
Must be able to lift equipment in excess of 35 lbs.
Push/pull loaded carts of equipment in excess of 100 lbs.
Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone, in writing, e-mail or in person.

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $15.00
Maximum hourly: $18.44
