We are looking for a hands-on Equipment Engineer with strong experience in lyophilization (freeze drying) systems to support installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities in a life sciences manufacturing environment.
This is an execution-focused, field-based role—ideal for engineers who enjoy working directly on equipment rather than documentation-heavy validation work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, commissioning, and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) of freeze dryers
- Execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance
- Conduct temperature mapping studies
- Perform I/O checks and signal simulation
- Calibrate instrumentation loops (temperature, pressure, vacuum)
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and PLC/control systems
- Support equipment start-up, testing, and performance verification
- Carry out on-site repairs and fault isolation independently
Required Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with lyophilization (freeze dryer) systems
- Background in pharma, biotech, or life sciences manufacturing
- Expertise in:
- Temperature mapping
- I/O checks & signal simulation
- Instrument calibration (temp, pressure, vacuum)
- Experience in installation, commissioning, and SAT (execution-focused)
- Solid knowledge of:
- Electro-mechanical systems
- PLC-controlled equipment & troubleshooting
- Root cause analysis
