Epic Dorothy Comfort Billing Analyst

Job Description

Client is seeking an Epic Dorothy Comfort Billing Analyst to join their Revenue Cycle team for a 6‑month remote contract. This role will support a new initiative tied to recently acquired ambulatory sites, including home health and hospice billing, an area where the current revenue cycle team has limited experience.

The analyst will supplement the existing revenue cycle build team and play a key role in the intake, design, build, testing, and post–go‑live support for this project.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders and end users to gather requirements and support intake/design discussions

Configure and build Epic Hospital Billing (HB) functionality, with a focus on home health and hospice billing workflows

Perform unit and integrated testing

Support go‑live and provide post–implementation user support

Work independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining strong communication with both technical and non‑technical users

Required Skills & Experience

Epic HB Certification (required)

3–5 years of recent Epic Hospital Billing (HB) experience

Hands‑on build experience supporting home health and hospice billing

Experience working in Agile environments

Strong understanding of hospital billing and claims workflows

Additional Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Comfortable partnering with non‑technical business users

This is a Contract position based out of Boston, MA.

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $95.00/hr.
