UTHealth Houston is looking for an EPIC Imaging Ancillary Integration Analyst to oversee and perform integrations for a major outpatient surgery center with UT Physicians, including radiology and interoperability expansions. This senior-level analyst will be responsible for the ongoing design, build, testing, validation, and support of any and all assigned modules across the healthcare system.
Specifically, we need an Epic professional who has been credentialed in at least one of the following modules: Radiant, Beaker, Bridges, or Ambulatory.
This analyst works with operational stakeholders and IT technical staff to troubleshoot Epic system issues and problems, capture requirements for new initiatives, and support project planning and execution. You must have experience either with integrations or implementations. This team works with end users to help communicate improvements needed for business processes and contribute directly to the success of the UTHealth mission from a technological, clinical, administrative, and financial perspective.
Applicants for this position should possess substantial experience in implementing and integrating a range of Imaging Applications with Epic. We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked with most of the following systems in a large healthcare setting: VNA (preferably Merge), Fuji Synapse (Radiology PACS and CV), Siemens Syngo, GE Viewpoint, Philips ISCV (Cardiology), PowerScribe 360, DICOM, HL7, Mammography applications, LIS systems and other middleware applications designed for systems integration with Epic. Proficiency in these diverse technologies and applications is highly desirable, as it will play a pivotal role in fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.
The employee must be willing to come into the office at the manager's discretion. We prefer candidates who either live in Texas or are willing to move to Texas if UTHealth Houston employs them. This role is mostly remote, but may come in occasionally as needed. This department handles new applications, so you will need to be able to adapt as they shift. Additional modules or various hardware and software will be introduced as needed.
