Are you passionate about protecting the environment and making a tangible difference in your community? Our client is seeking a skilled Environmental Project Engineer to lead impactful remediation and assessment projects across the five boroughs of New York City.

This is a dynamic opportunity for someone who thrives both in the field and in the office, enjoys writing technical reports, and wants to be part of a collaborative team working on meaningful environmental initiatives.

• Lead the preparation of technical reports, including Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments, Remedial Action Plans, and Closure Reports.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Conduct Community Air Monitoring (CAMP)to safeguard public health during site work.
• Perform soil and groundwater sampling to support site investigations and remediation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on environmental cleanup and redevelopment projects.
• Be hands-on in the field, working on diverse sites throughout NYC.

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science.
• 7+ years of experience in environmental fieldwork and reporting.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and field protocols.
• Certifications including OSHA 30,OSHA 40 HAZWOPER, and SST Card.

This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY.

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $62.50/hr.
