Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Large International Manufacturing Company located in the Jackson Michigan area is looking for a Environmental Health & Safety Specialist

JOB DUTIES

• Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly HSE metrics.
• Manage HSE information systems within the corporate network.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001, leading audits and continuous improvement projects.
• Coach leadership and employees at all levels on HSE responsibilities.
• Conduct safety and environmental risk assessments.
• Deliver and coordinate HSE training programs for all employees.

Required

• Associate´s Degree
• 3+ years of experience in a similar HSE role.
• Experience working in a Plant manufacturing environment
• Exposure to ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 a plus.
