Environment, Health and Safety Manager

The ODA Group is a direct-hire staffing firm based in Dallas. One of our clients, a growing company in the paint finishing industry, based in Carrollton, is seeking a HSE Manager. The HSE Manager will:

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company’s safety management system
• Conduct and document safety inspections, audits, and corrective action follow-ups
• Plan, deliver, and document employee training on the following topics (initial and recurring): Grounding and Bonding, Painter Safety (spray equipment, PPE, ventilation), Emergency Evacuation Planning and Drills, Paint Storage Area Compliance and other duties
• Manage the facility’s air permit and ensure day-to-day operations remain within permitted emission limits
• Conduct and document regular emissions tracking, calculations, and recordkeeping in accordance with TCEQ permit conditions
• Prepare and submit required regulatory reports (e.g., annual emissions inventory, permit deviation reports, Tier II reporting)

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an EHS, safety, or environmental compliance role in a manufacturing or finishing environment
• Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 (General Industry) standards
• Familiarity with EPA and TCEQ air quality permitting, emissions reporting, and hazardous waste regulations (RCRA)
