Entry Writer

Our client an international freight forwarding and logistics company, is seeking an Entry Writer to join their Illinois team.

Title: Customs Entry Writer

Salary: $30-40/hr

Hours: 9 - 6 PM

Location: Wood Dale IL (on site)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares and submits accurate customs declarations.
• Coordinates with sales departments for timely customs processing.
• Ensures logistics activities meet legal and corporate compliance standards (e.g., TS
• A, CTPAT).
• Manages import logistics, schedules pickups/deliveries, and communicates
• with carriers.
• Tracks shipments and provides updates to customers.
• Handles billing, freight charges, and contract data entry.
• Resolves logistics issues and supports related operations.
• Provides price quotations for new and existing customers.
• Assists in invoicing for Airfreight, Ocean, and Trucking departments.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of entry writing experience
• Highschool diploma required
• Excel experience
• Experience with international logistics
