Work Environment
The role operates in small 2–3 person field crews based out of a local office and involves working outdoors daily in extreme Florida elements, including high heat, humidity, and exposure to insects and wildlife. Team members typically report to the office at 6:00 a.m., ride in a crew truck to the job site, and work on-site until approximately 4:00–5:00 p.m., with overtime required and paid at 1.5x. The position includes regular breaks throughout the day to support safety and endurance. Work frequently takes place on active construction sites and along roadways, requiring strict adherence to safety procedures. Travel is a regular part of the job, with out-of-town assignments and potential overnight stays from Monday through Thursday; lodging and per diem are provided, and projects may be up to several hours from the home office. The company uses modern, cutting-edge survey and SUE technology and operates as a dedicated survey and SUE firm with a family-oriented culture that values job stability, a strong backlog of work, performance-based raises, and comprehensive benefits upon permanent hire. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
