Entry-Level Staff Geologist or Environmental Scientist

A growing environmental consulting firm is seeking a full-time, entry-level, Staff Geologist or Environmental Scientist to join its team in Malvern, PA. This position offers a motivated professional the opportunity to work in a dynamic small business environment, where both field and office responsibilities are integral to the role.

This position is ideal for someone who is self-directed, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to meaningful environmental assessment and investigation projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments.
• Perform soil and groundwater sampling and complete proper chain-of-custody documentation.
• Perform asbestos inspections, lead-based paint surveys, and mold investigations.
• Prepare accurate, concise field reports based on assessment findings and project scope.
• Maintain and build positive working relationships with clients, team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Current certifications and training preferred for OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and field data documentation tools.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
