Payments Marketing, Marketing Quality Assurance Associate
Company is seeking a talented associate who will be instrumental in helping ensure marketing material for the Payments business is of the highest quality and compliance. The ideal candidate has an editor’s eye and persona, manages work efficiently, communicates professionally, and is a positive and collaborative team player.
This position has exposure to a wide range of teams and executives working in an ever-evolving landscape of interesting marketing governance requirements. The candidate must work effectively in a matrixed environment, as this role requires close collaboration with marketing teams, legal, compliance, cross line of business counterparts, and other business functions.
Responsibilities
Review all marketing assets, initiatives, and claims that Payments marketers produce to determine what legal and compliance review is needed based on a set of standards, policies, and guidelines.
Learn and adhere to marketing business practices including corporate controls, regulatory obligations, and anti-trust reviews of marketing materials and claims.
Proactively work with Legal and Compliance teams regionally and globally to address and resolve concerns.
Maintain a central repository for marketing disclaimers and approved claims.
Support and promote a sustainable and disciplined control environment that identifies, escalates, addresses, and mitigates risks in a timely manner and supports the end-to-end execution of our marketing controls.
Qualifications
3-6 years of experience in editorial, marketing, legal, compliance, regulatory, quality control, or equivalent type of roles at large companies.
Takes feedback well and is adaptable; likes working in a fast-paced, transformational environment.
Comfortable in reading, synthesizing, and applying legal and compliance guidelines as well as corporate control policies to Marketing creatives and claims.
Working knowledge of audit, risk and operational management concepts as well as the ability to understand and interpret the impact of decisions, and identify/ convey potential problem areas.
Demonstrates consistent track record of delivering with urgency.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail and organized.
