JOB OBJECTIVE: To inspect industrial facility premises and processes, collect and record inspection findings, and administer activities associated with street and drainage infrastructure construction projects. Implements industrial activities associated with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and Industrial General Stormwater Discharge Permit (IGP) compliances, and ensure the City’s compliance with the (NPDES) and the Division of Environmental Quality (DEQ) of the Arkansas Department of Energy and Environment (ADEE) regulations and requirements.

These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of two (2) years of vocational-technical or college coursework in Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field; two (2) years experience in construction inspection or environmental programs related inspection; Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver’s License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
