Engineering Project Manager

Manage engineering projects for chemical and industrial clients including scope, budget, schedule, and coordination of multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related technical field
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in engineering or industrial environments
• Experience managing engineering project scope, schedules, and budgets
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Experience preparing project plans and tracking project execution against approved scope
• Experience documenting scope changes and managing change control processes
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license or Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Basic engineering knowledge supporting technical project oversight

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing projects in chemical processing or industrial manufacturing environments
• Experience working within consulting engineering organizations
• Experience coordinating with clients, vendors, and engineering disciplines during project delivery
• Experience supporting engineering proposal development and client presentations

Job Responsibilities

• Manage assigned engineering projects including scope, budget, and schedule performance
• Develop and maintain project schedules and project budgets
• Monitor scope changes and evaluate impacts to project budget and schedule
• Coordinate engineering disciplines on multi-discipline projects to ensure design integration
• Prepare project plans and manage project execution according to approved scope and schedule
• Document project discussions and obtain approvals for scope, budget, or schedule changes
• Support proposal preparation, presentations, and project pursuit activities
• Coordinate with department leadership to maintain technical integrity of project deliverables
• Assign tasks and oversee work performed by project team members
• Provide oversight of engineering deliverables to ensure alignment with project objectives
