ENGINEERING MANAGER
Location: Suwanee, GA
Reports to: Sr. Technical Project Manager
Compensation: $100k-$130k

Your Role:
You’ll oversee technical support operations and engineering service activities, ensuring customers receive responsive, high-quality technical assistance. In this role, you will serve as a key link between customers, engineering teams, and manufacturing operations while leading a team responsible for troubleshooting, application support, and product performance.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead and support technical service team members (both onsite and remote), including scheduling, development, and training
• Review and approve engineering drawings and design documentation related to gears and gear motors
• Evaluate customer requirements and identify necessary engineering changes or product modifications
• Partner with the headquarters engineering team to implement technical updates and design improvements
• Assist with proposals, quotations, and pricing in collaboration with Sales or company leadership
• Provide technical consultation to customers through phone, email, and onsite visits regarding product capabilities and application requirements
• Diagnose application and performance issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Provide design support and present technical information when needed
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers and fabrication/manufacturing teams
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, equipment utilization, and operational workflows
• Monitor operations to ensure compliance with quality standards, approved processes, and safety guidelines
What You’ll Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or technical support roles
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and product applications
• Experience reviewing technical drawings and supporting engineering design updates
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving abilities
• Ability to clearly communicate technical information to customers and internal teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to support customer needs when required
• Strong leadership, organizational, and collaboration skills in a technical environment
