The Wells Fargo Digital Technology group is seeking a talented Technology Manager to build and manage a team and involve in design and development of software solutions for key portal and mobile applications in the area.  The CEO Portal and Mobile applications are customer facing portals built using Java, Spring, React, Weblogic, Microservices and oracle DB. The platform provides single sign on portal and mobile capabilities for our commercial and corporate business customers to access a wide array of online business services. This Manager will be tasked with being a leader on technology trends, strong business understanding of processes and procedures, deep understanding of integration design and security patterns, and experience in application rationalization. Qualified candidates should themselves be experts in technology development, and demonstrated team leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Leads teams through technical analysis, design, construction and deployment of highly complex / scalable application projects.
  • Acts as the primary liaison to product and business support teams to create solutions quickly in compliance with all technology standards.
  • Creates designs and technical specifications for web and mobile applications by analyzing highly complex business requirements while continuously focused on optimal performance and scalability.
  • Always determines and implements the most efficient and cost-effective software/package solution.
  • Leads both onshore and offshore teams(FTE's and Contractors) to implement complex initiatives and enhancements while minimizing risk to end customers.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technology engineering experience
  • 4+ years of leadership and people management experience in a technology environment
  • 5+ years of fraud prevention and authentication area experience
  • 5+ years of product development and product management experience
  • 7+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
  • 7 + years of Core Java experience
  • 5+ years of SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) experience
  • 5+ years of Web Security Tools experience


Desired Qualifications

  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
  • 5+ years of secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies experience
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
  • 5+ years of Agile experience
  • 7+ years of treasury management experience
  • 5+ years of mobile banking experience
  • SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) experience
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology


Other Desired Qualifications
  • 10+ years experience providing Application and/or Systems Management of Java/J2EE systems with a concentrated focus on Web, Mobile and REST/SOAP based services and applications
  • Knowledge of Microservice development principles
  • 7+ years experience leading and building high-performing application development teams in high volume or critical production service environment
  • .Detailed knowledge of HTTP REST concepts, JSON, JSON Schema, the Swagger JSON REST specification, MicroSevices and MicroFrontend.
  • Web Security and Authentication systems for large scale sites.   User entitlements systems supporting RBAC and ABAC principles
  • Modern SDLC concepts and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git/GitHub, Artifactory, etc.
  • Modern cloud ready development principles, including CI/CD automation, test automation and deployment practices
  • Experience with modern software development processes (Agile, Scrum etc.) within a large enterprise environment
