Support process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Assist in collecting, analyzing, and reporting production and quality data
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, and quality
Participate in continuous improvement efforts and team meetings
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Job Duties
Assist with troubleshooting manufacturing issues and root cause analysis
Help develop and update work instructions and standard operating procedures
Design parts and create fabrication drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Identify and evaluate cost-saving opportunities
Observe and support daily manufacturing operations on the production floor
Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned
Education and Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related)
Completed at least sophomore-level coursework preferred
Basic understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Excel, CAD software, or data analysis preferred
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement concepts is a plus
Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments, including use of PPE and extended periods of standing or walking
